In partnership with Blue Star Kids Care, Blue Pathways offers a U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program for youth ages 16–24. This program includes: 148 hours of structured instruction 512 hours of hands-on training Paid work experience Ongoing mentorship and workforce development Apprentices are trained and placed into childcare centers where they gain real-world experience and career pathways. What age groups do you cater to at Blue Star Kids Care?

Blue Star Kids Care serves children from infancy through age 15, providing care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children in a nurturing and structured environment. Our current enrollment includes Little Stars (ages 0 –4) and Bright Futures (ages 5–15). We are continuing to grow and are in the process of expanding our program to fully support infants and younger toddlers, with infant care becoming available soon.

At Blue Star Kids Care, we focus on practical life skills including social skills, problem-solving, basic cooking, and personal responsibility, ensuring children gain essential tools for their future.

What are your hours of operation?

Our program offers care 6 am - 6:30 pm - Monday–Friday with options that may include full-day care, before-school care, and summer programming for school-age children.

What makes Blue Star Kids Care different?

What should my child bring each day?

Children should bring a change of clothes, personal items if needed, and any required school materials for before-school or summer programming.

Yes. Children participate in a balanced daily schedule that includes learning activities, playtime, creative exploration, meals/snacks, and rest or quiet time when needed.

Yes! Blue Star Kids Care is connected to DHS and most tuition assistance opportunities offered by employers.

What is the Blue Pathways Apprenticeship Program?

The Blue Pathways Apprenticeship Program is a U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship designed for youth ages 16–24.
